I Will Still Be There

By Tom Snee

When I die,
I shall not be seen,
I shall not be heard,
I shall not be touched,
But I will be watching
When you need my eyes,
And I will be listening
When you need my ears,

And we will touch
Whenever you think of me.

I recently semi retired from teaching and in my new found free time began writing poetry. During the last few months I have written over 100 poems: some are short, some long; they tell stories; give advice; are based on observation and imagination; are happy and sad; humorous and tragic; works of fantasy and also realism; erotic yet spiritual; political and philosophical.

My poems are the result of lifetime’s journey of learning and experience, a journey that still goes on.
