False Masks

By David Lucas

I laugh at your
Misfortunes.
I laugh at your lies.

You blame everyone
Else for your
faults and flaws.
Never yourself.

Look in wards.
Look inside
See yourself
For what you truly are.

A liar.
A drunkard.
A bastard.
A whore.

Change your life.
Stop hiding
Behind a false smile.

Never saying what you mean.
Never meaning what you say.
Changing peoples words
To justify your lies.

You will always be alone.
Hiding behind a false mask.
